Lady Blogger Lights Up A Cigarette Mid-Air, Arrested For Smoking On Flight & Endangering Passengers’ Lives

Blogger and influencer tradition has been broadly criticised for the entitlement it promotes in individuals. There’s a bent to view oneself as superior to others due to their social media presence. The entitlement usually results in unsavoury encounters. One such occasion passed off lately on an IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Ranchi as a self-proclaimed blogger, Aishwarya Rai, was caught smoking on flight inside the rest room. Following this, she was arrested.

Blogger Arrested For Endangering Lives By Smoking On Flight

Not too long ago, a self-proclaimed blogger named Aishwarya Rai – no, not that Aishwarya Rai – was caught smoking on an IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Ranchi. She was caught smoking red-handed inside the rest room of the aircraft.

The employees on the flight came upon that the passenger was smoking inside the rest room after the smoke detectors within the aircraft went off. Following her discovery, she was arrested for endangering the lives of the passengers on board.

The incident passed off on the 18th of February and was reported by the Twitter account JetArena. Because it was posted, the tweet has garnered over 14 thousand views on the micro-blogging web site.

An Enhance In Such Cases

Currently, it appears that evidently there was an increase in such situations of passengers flouting the no-smoking rule. The Directorate Normal of Civil Aviation (DGCA) lately fined the airways Air India for not reporting a passenger who was smoking on a flight. This incident passed off on a flight from Paris to New Delhi.

In one other weird incident, a suspected inebriated girl passenger flashed passengers on a flight in an altercation with the crew. The flight was from Stavropol to Moscow. The 49-year-old girl needed to smoke inside the rest room and when the permission was denied, she flashed everybody on the flight.

Following this gross misconduct, she was handcuffed to her seat and, upon touchdown, was arrested and handed over to the police. Such misconduct is turning into more and more widespread day-to-day.
